Booking Policy

At Fox & Doe, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. As a private, appointment-only beauty atelier, we take pride in offering a relaxed, personal experience with plenty of time and attention dedicated to each client.

To help us manage our appointments fairly, we kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with our booking policy.

Booking & Payments

​

Appointments can be booked through Fresha or arranged directly with Fox & Doe.

​

A small booking fee is required for the following treatments:
 

• New lash extension sets: £25

• Lash and brow lifts: £15

• Occasion makeup: £25
   

All booking fees are deducted from your treatment price, with the remaining balance payable on the day of your appointment.

Lash infills and other treatments do not require an upfront booking fee.

Your appointment is confirmed once your booking has been accepted and any applicable booking fee has been received.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

​

We understand that plans can change and kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
 

• 48 hours or more: You may reschedule your appointment or receive a refund of your booking fee.

• Less than 48 hours: Your booking fee may be retained to cover the reserved appointment time and any reasonable losses incurred.

• Missed appointments: A reasonable no-show charge may apply where this has been agreed in advance.
   

Any cancellation or no-show charge will be proportionate to the loss incurred, taking into account any costs saved or opportunity to refill the appointment. Booking fees already retained will be deducted from any applicable charge.
 

If you're unwell or experiencing an unexpected situation, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll always do our best to find a fair solution.

If Fox & Doe needs to cancel your appointment, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of any booking fee paid.
 

Arrivals & Late Appointments

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you're running late, kindly let us know as soon as possible. Depending on the delay, your treatment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid affecting other clients.

Patch Testing & Health Information

​

Your safety and comfort are our priority.

Patch testing is required at least 48 hours before applicable lash and brow treatments, including for new clients and returning clients who have not had the relevant treatment within the previous six months.

Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, recent treatments or medication changes that may affect your appointment.

We reserve the right to decline or adapt a treatment where there are reasonable safety concerns.

Our Private Studio

​

Fox & Doe is a private, home-based beauty atelier in Cheltenham.

Our studio is situated in a loft space accessed by stairs. We also share our home with two dogs, who are kept separate from the treatment area.

If you have any accessibility requirements, allergies or other considerations, please get in touch before your appointment.

Bridal Makeup

​

Bridal makeup bookings are covered by our separate Bridal Services Agreement, including the applicable booking and administration fee, payment terms and cancellation arrangements.

Data Protection & GDPR

​

All personal information collected during booking and consultation is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

​

• Data is collected solely for the purpose of providing safe and professional treatments, managing appointments, and meeting insurance obligations.

• Health intake forms are stored securely and retained for 7 years or in the case of minors, 7 years from the date they reach age 18 as required by our insurer.

• You may request to access or delete your personal data at any time by emailing hello@foxanddoe.co.uk.
